Titan Poker Review

Titan Poker has long carried the torch for the iPoker network, and they’ve become one of the world’s most respected poker sites in the process. Their promotions and software rank right near the top of the online poker world, and high player traffic is definitely a plus to playing here as well.

However, it should be noted that you won’t find Americans among this traffic because Titan Poker doesn’t accept US players. Instead, they’ve chosen to dedicate a large portion of their resources towards the European poker population, which can definitely be seen in the 15 different languages their software offers. So if you’re a European looking for a poker room, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll have to worry about the language barrier here. On the downside, this is a huge reason why Titan’s traffic rises and falls during the European peak hours.

Getting back to the positives of this site, the Titan Poker software offers plenty of quality with both their features and graphics. The latter has really improved over the past few years with Titan moving away from their ugly red, blue and silver look to a sleeker black and silver interface. Some impressive features at Titan include graphical hand histories, player notes, customizable decks, mini-table views and the BackBet option. BackBet lets you make lots of interesting prop bets during play such as what suit your next cards will be, and what your exact hole card values are going to be. The only thing players really need to watch out for with software features is that the time bank allows too much extra time, which can be abused by inconsiderate players.

As for poker variations, Titan doesn’t offer a lot of exotic variants or anything, but they do have all of the Texas Hold’em, 7-Card Stud and Omaha versions. Omaha is particularly noteworthy because Titan has some of the biggest and best action in the game. Unfortunately, this leads to tough Omaha games in the mid and high stakes. But on the bright side, at least you won’t have to worry about finding full Omaha tournaments and cash games within your preferred stakes.
